August 2026 Update: Better Follow-Up, a Smarter Daily Plan & Cleaner Deal Tracking
Everything new in Booked55 this summer, organised around what you're actually trying to get done: follow up without chasing, know what to do first thing in the morning, and keep a straight answer to “what did we close?”

Most CRM release notes are a list of buttons. This one is a list of problems we watched customers run into, and what we changed so they stop happening. Here is what shipped since the March release.
•Follow Up With Everyone Without Becoming the Person Who Won't Stop Emailing
The reason most founders under-follow-up is not laziness. It is that following up properly means remembering who you have already chased, how many times, and whether they answered — and getting that wrong in public is embarrassing.
Email sequences take that off you. Choose whether it is a drip or a cold outreach sequence, decide how long to wait between steps, and Booked55 sends the follow-ups on your behalf.
- Follow-ups arrive as real replies. Step two lands underneath step one in the same conversation in your prospect's inbox, the way it would if you had written it yourself — not as a stray email with a bare “Re:” subject.
- It stops the moment they answer. Nobody gets chased after they have already said yes. This is the single thing most likely to cost you a deal you had already won.
- You can look without touching. Open any sequence to read its steps, subjects and timing at any time. Editing is a deliberate second click, so a live sequence cannot be changed by accident.
•Every Marketing Email Now Carries a One-Click Unsubscribe
If you send marketing email, recipients have to be able to opt out of it — and most inbox providers now judge you on whether they can. Getting this right used to mean remembering to paste a link into every template.
Now it is automatic. Every marketing email and every sequence step Booked55 sends carries an “Unsubscribe from these emails” link at the very bottom, added for you, below your signature. There is nothing to configure and nothing to remember.
- Only where it belongs. Your ordinary one-to-one emails to a contact are untouched. A note to one person is not a marketing email and does not get a footer.
- Opting out actually sticks. When someone unsubscribes, Booked55 excludes them from every future marketing send and sequence automatically. You cannot email them by mistake six months later.
- Recipients get a choice, not a cliff. The unsubscribe page lets people manage which newsletters they stay on, rather than forcing an all-or-nothing exit.
Better for your recipients, and better for your sender reputation, which is what decides whether the next hundred emails land in the inbox or the spam folder.
•Stay in Front of People Who Aren't in a Deal Right Now
Most of your network is not buying this quarter, and a pipeline stage is the wrong tool for staying in touch with them. Newsletters give those relationships a home: a recurring send on a schedule you set, with its own subscriber list, its own template, and its own unsubscribe. Keep a monthly note going to past clients, or a quarterly one to your referral network, without it competing with your active outreach. Everything now lives together on one Outreach page — sequences, bulk emails and newsletters side by side, so you can see everything you have in flight in one screen.
•Know What to Do at 8am Without Reading Forty Rows
A CRM that greets you with forty open tasks has not helped you. It has handed you a triage job before you have done any selling, and the honest response is to close the tab.
Your daily list is now a prioritised queue: real opportunities on top, then the tasks you set yourself, then anything carrying a genuine note. Suggested filler sits behind a “show more” toggle instead of burying the work that matters.
- It sizes itself to you. If you have averaged fewer than five activities a day over the past week, it shows you five. Not because five is the right number, but because eleven was never going to happen, and a list you cannot finish is a list you stop opening. Work at a higher volume and the cap lifts entirely.
- You can see the day close out. A date header, progress markers, and “X of Y done today” — plus a small celebration the first time you clear it.
- The same list is on your phone. The Today tab in the mobile app shows the identical queue in the identical order, so your laptop and your pocket never disagree about what is important.
- Bulk actions for the catch-up days. Reschedule, update or complete a batch of tasks at once — and completing them in bulk still counts properly toward your activity numbers.
•Keep a Straight Answer to “What Did We Actually Close?”
- A dedicated Deals page. Every deal in one place, sortable by value or by date, so you can answer a revenue question without exporting anything.
- Record the value where you close it. Move a contact into a client stage on the pipeline board and enter the deal value right there, in the moment you already have the number in your head.
- Closing a deal marks the client. However the deal was created, the contact is marked as a client and the original date is kept. No more people sitting in “prospect” while holding closed business, and no more reports that quietly disagree with each other.
- See what sells. Group deals by product or service type and open any type to see everything attached to it.
•Stop Typing Things a Computer Could Have Typed
- Business cards, in bulk. Photograph up to twenty cards in a row after an event and keep talking to people; Booked55 reads them and creates the contacts in the background.
- A second pair of eyes on every email. The composer flags spelling and grammar as you write, and the review reads the recipient's record too — so the advice is about this email, to this person, rather than generic writing tips.
- Coaching on your pipeline, weekly or monthly. An emailed review of where your deals actually stand, with specific action items. Turn it on per pipeline, write your own coaching prompt if you want a different emphasis, and pick your own cadence. Managers get a team view; reps get a personal one.
- Know what you are using. A simple meter shows AI and enrichment credits used against what your plan includes, right where you spend them.
•Ask for What You Need Instead of Learning Our Filters
“Which contacts haven't I spoken to in sixty days?” is a question, not a saved view. Connect Booked55 to Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity and ask it directly — our MCP connection now offers 24 tools across contacts, companies, events, tasks and pipelines, so your assistant can look things up and update them for you.
- You stay in control. A connected apps screen lists every AI tool with access to your account, and revokes any of them in one click.
- Build your own. A full API reference is published at docs.booked55.com alongside step-by-step guides for connecting Claude and ChatGPT.
- Push events into your other tools with outbound webhooks, currently in early access. Get in touch if you want it on your account.
•A Rebuilt Mobile App for the Half of Selling That Happens Standing Up
The Booked55 mobile app has been redesigned end to end around the two things people actually do on a phone: work today's list, and add someone they just met. Today and Contacts are now the two tabs, with a centre button that adds a contact by scanning a card, pulling from your phone's address book, or typing it in. Task cards expand in place so you can reschedule or complete something in a single tap. The web app has a new look to match, including a proper dark mode.
•Security and Privacy
Owners can now require multi-factor authentication across their whole organisation, on web and mobile, from a single setting. Alongside that we have continued our ongoing security hardening across the platform, and published a subprocessors page listing the vendors that support the service. You can read more on our security page and in our privacy policy.
•What's Next
Sequences, newsletters and webhooks are opening up to more accounts over the coming weeks — ask us and we will switch them on for you. Everything else above is live in your workspace today.
Not sure Booked55 is the right fit? Our “Which CRM should I use?” quiz will tell you honestly, including when the answer is somebody else.
